[SOLVED] Missing ASTER_VERSION directory installing CA10.2

Hi,

I'm trying to install CA 10.2 on slackware64 13.1: I started the installation procedure with python setup.py install using the default setup.config file.

The procedure run apparently with no errors but ended without the expected diagnostic message and the Aster_Version directory doesnt exist on my Aster_Root (/opt/aster/).

All dependencies seems to be satisfied, I only received a warning about libg2c.

In the log file I noticed this message on the Aster 10.2 installation section:

'aster' requires this file : /opt/aster/bin/as_run

'aster' requires this file : /opt/aster/etc/codeaster/profile.sh

*** Exception raised : missing objects

Problem with : /opt/aster/bin/as_run, /opt/aster/etc/codeaster/profile.sh

Any advice?

Hi,

The installation of codeaster-gui (also known as astk !) failed :

*** Exception raised : invalid `site_packages` path : /opt/aster/lib64/python2.6/site-packages

After unpacking aster-full-src-10.2.0 archive, replace the file as_setup.py by the attached one.

Please tell us if it works... or not !
