Hello Stephane and Thomas,

I searched for how to create a blind group of nodes (if I translated "l'aveugle" as "blind" correctly, a new word for my vocabulary) but without success in the Mesh User Guide or panning through the toolbars. However your suggestion to create a group of nodes from the solid mesh led me to some success (and perhaps the intended method). After creating a group of nodes based on the solid I right-click on the new item in the lefthand tree and select "Edit Group Standalone". While the Edit Group screen is open, the nodes are displayed as shown in the attached picture. I can even zoom and rotate using mouse controls and CTRL button while this is open. Of course this only lasts while the Edit Group screen is open.

The most common reason to this is : you do not have a graphic card on your computer. Some integrated graphic processors are known to pose problem. Only a dedicated card will enable all the visualization features.
I checked with our IT fellow and he indicated that the desktop CPU has a dedicated graphics card and the laptop computer is an integrated graphics card. Both are company computers. So I have both graphics card types but the same results----no nodes visible on either computer which is interesting. I half suspected that the cause may relate to my using a virtual machine. (Corporately we use a Windows OS so I'm sort of tied but may have to push for a dedicated Linux OS on a separate computer in the future.)

To workaround this you may try the following : when a mesh is displayed, if you want to display the nodes of it, you need to right-click in the view and select the "Nodes" representation (and make sure this entity is allowed).
Yes, I was trying to show this on the second page of the previous attachment but this is not successful either (though it shows the option is available).
My other workaround has been to simply turn on the node numbering and imagine the node is offset relative to the label and also toggle between a wireframe display.
Glad to know I'm not alone.
Thanks.
