Coupling with Code_Saturne/SYRTHES

Hello,

At the end of the coupled SYRTHES/Code_Saturne calculations, the thermal results can be transferred to Code_Aster to determine the mechanical stresses originating from thermal phenomena. The SYRTHES results can be exported in MED format and read by Code_Aster available through the open-source SALOME platform. But I would like to know if there exists another way to couple Code_Aster, Code_Saturne and SYRTHES more explicitely.

Hi,

As you pointed out chaining works fine : a MED exported temperature field may be read and ,if needed, projected on the solid mesh with Code_Aster.

With some Python scripting, one should also be able to setup weak coupling e.g. chaining step after step.

Strong coupling, however, is still a work in progress and not ready for daily use.

How is the development of coupling Code_Aster/Code_Saturne? It can solve strong coupling?

I'm working with FSI problems in flexible piping system and I need solve the problems with turbulent flow. There is a tutorial about this?
