Dear Aster users,
I have been using some commercial software to do random vibration analysis for shaker testing, however i would like to know more about this Code Aster software (i'm a recent user of CA), since it seems to have a huge capacity of performing FEA study's.
I have been doing some simple tutorials, most of them available on youtube and in some forums, so therefore i am familiarized with the application and some Aster Operands. However when it come's to do a more complex study ( like random vibration analysis) with Code Aster, it complicates... nothing is simple... and i end up lost with operands like DYNA_VIBRA, CALC_CHAR_SEISME, etc...
So i ask to someone (expert or not) some guidance , that can provide some examples "code.comm" file with basic code for a random vibration study...
I have an example attached, where a plate is fixed into a shaker at bottom (-Y edge) and it is excited with acceleration profile in the Z direction.
Freq (Hz) PSD acceleration (g^2/Hz)
20 0.010
80 0.040
350 0.040
2000 0.007
I have been reading some documentation, ... but without any success or confidance...
thanks for the support.
Joao
