Installation salome_meca 2019.0.3 on Windows

Hello everyone,

I'm trying to install Salome Meca on Windows. I followed the instructions on this page : code-aster[DOT]org/V2/spip.php?article295

I downloaded "salome_meca 2019.0.3", unzipped the archive called "salome_meca-2019.0.3-1-universal.tgz".

Then I typed "tar xzf salome_meca-2019.0.1-2-LGPL.tgz && ./salome_meca-2019.0.1-2-LGPL.run" in the command prompt as it is indicated on the website. I just modified it to "tar xzf salome_meca-2019.0.3-1-universal.tgz && ./salome_meca-2019.0.3-1-universal.run" to make it match the name of my archive but I can the following error :

"The system cannot execute the specified program."

Can anyone help me ?

The archive you have downloaded is meant for Linux systems only. For Windows please visit

https-aster-windows.com/

Also there are docker images available for using in Windows/Linux system. Visit

https.code-aster.org/forum2/viewtopic.php?id=23453 for the same.

Else, you can also install a virtual machine in Windows and try Salome-Meca there. But, I think, physical install is always more efficient in terms of speed.
