Error in 'Eclater'.

Dear colleagues,

When preparing a geometry I tried to split the edges ('Eclater') of a surface and received the message below.
'il est impossible de trouver ou d'ouvrir la librairie IHM correspondante a l'action de l'utilisateur'.
Could you help me to understand, and solve, this? I am using SM 2020.

I just discovered that IHM, in french, means UI. Is this correct?
The problem is spreading out to other operations, like sketch.

it seems so ("interface homme-machine"). But more importantly: why are you using a SM version that is 6 years old now? Are you on a 6 year old operating system as well?

The question is that after EDF decided to move to SIF format I can no longer install in the CAELinux 2020.

My computer is 7yo too.

If there is no solution, I will have to find a workaround to an evolving degradation. Wish me luck!

my machine is also not the newest. Nevertheless, you should keep the operating system up-to-date. It is more than likely that graphical stuff in 2020 does not really fit a modern operating system, besides there are no updates for 5 year old OS (even Ubuntu LTS does not do that). For example, Ubuntu switched to wayland, that did not exist 5 years ago. I still don't understand, also every other software package in Caelinux made substantial progress in the last 5 years. I don't know what you need in there, but FreeCAD is better than ever, 1.1 will come soon. OpenFOAM is updating every 6 months and is way better and faster than in 2020 etc. Modern software packages come containerized to circumvent installation hassle etc. Maybe it is time for an update... ?
