Hello,
I am currently trying to solve a nonlinear contact problem in which a smaller cuboid is pushed, force-controlled, into a larger cuboid. I want to compare the contact pressure as a result for different meshings. I have already calculated the system displacement-controlled, but it does not work when using force control. I have looked extensively in the documentation and online to solve my problem, but I haven’t found a solution anywhere.
Currently, my model is set up as follows: The lower (larger) cuboid is fixed on its bottom face in all spatial directions. For the upper cuboid, I have fixed the top face (which is also subjected to the load) in the x- and y-directions. In the z-direction, the upper cuboid is pressed onto the lower one with a pressure of -1. I want the contact to block the displacement in the z-direction, but I always get an error.
I also tried using the contact problem assistant integrated in the AsterStudy module, but that didn’t work either. I have attached my .comm file. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions for a solution.
If anything I said is unclear, or if more information is needed, please let me know. Thank you very much in advance!
