syrthes installation

I am in for a radiation+conduction thermal analysis and want to use Syrthes so I consider installing v5.0 on debian 13. Is there an instruction for doing this from scratch somewhere telling whiche prerequitsites are necessary ?
Also - v5.0 seems a few years old. Is the code compatible with new versions of libraries and python ?
Apology for posting on the Code Aster forum, but there isnt a Syrthes forum and I imagine that there is a fewusers here with insight in both codes :-)

When you extract Syrthes, the Readme file contains installation instructions. There's also a folder for external libraries embedded in the folder.

scimulate Thank you for this hint. I did follow the instructions. At least the included HDF and MED libraries unfortunately seem incompatible with Debian 13. I also tried building using the HDF and MED libraries from the Debian repository but this seems not to work either. In the past I have successfully linked Syrthes and Code Saturne against HDF and MED libraries distributed with Salome-MECA, but that is not trivial anymore due to the post 2020 container packaging.

Can someone help me solving this error which prohibits making of hdf5-1.10.5 on Debian 13:
